Dave Foley has a web-series called The Sensible Traveler with Bobby Fargo. There are five episodes up at the moment and it made it's debut on Monday, August 17th.

It's funny how there will be a dearth of information and suddenly boom!

Looks like yesterday the blog portion of this site was down. The rest of the site was working (like the forums and transcripts, etc.), but if you didn't know the urls you were s.o.l. Let's see how often the blog site goes down in the future. If it continues to crater, I might actually have to go to wordpress. I had installed a copy of wordpress about a year ago and really didn't have the time or inclination to get all the custom stuff running the way I wanted it to.

Let's just say the website had a touch of girl drink drunk. Not that I'm being sarcastic or anything. :)

I tried to launch this last week and had issues. But all is fixed now.

So did anyone see Scott on Reno 9-1-1 last week? I missed it because I was out and have no Tivo... I wonder if I can watch it on Comedy Central? (Answer: Not really, but there are lots of clips.)

All you folks who may have your Kids in the Hall pages on GeoCities, have you heard that by the end of the year they are getting rid of Geocities? I suspect Yahoo will offer folks the chance to host on their pay pages. But if you need a cheap (a/k/a free) webhost, may I suggest Freehostia? Mind you their website looks a little scary at the moment, but it is free with no ads.

Okay not really. I have been playing with the idea of making this page more of a blog just because ... I'm lazy.You can tell that by noticing the previous entries are from last year! And you are only seeing it now.

I've thought of changing the design but that takes much planning and effort I wasn't prepared to tackle. At least not yet although I've been mentally redesigning these pages for years now. So I've gone blog because it's fast and easy. Doesn't require me updating several pages just to announce one thing. I'm all about fast and easy.

However as noted on the very top of this page... Don't panic, all of the website is still here (the transcripts, etc.), I've added them as links in the aptly named Links section in the sidebar on the right. Some things like Random transcript is broken (the webhost updated my site and I will have to look around on how to fix or even update that particular script) and not listed. But if I get it fixed I'll add it.

If you are just homesick for the old page you can still get to it, but as I also attest above my laziness means I haven't corrected the endless pages here so that clicking home will bring you here and not the old index page. But didn't I do pretty good getting this blog to match up with the old color scheme?

By making this fast and easy ... it is my hope that I will post more often... and not just in the forum.

Given how much I suck at updating the home page, that I decided I would try and make the home page a blog because I'm much better at updating that stuff...

So I decided I would try to install wordpress on the website... *snorts* that didn't work. I couldn't even install it for all the 500 errors. I know if I just sat and talked with doteasy and the wordpress forums I would get it right... but I didn't feel like it. I discovered that doteasy has its own blog service. So I figured I'd give it a try.

If this works out I will have to figure out a way to redirect the home page to this one, but I still have to add links and the like to make it work if I can.

Let's see if I'm better updating this way.
